Wenatchee Velo/ Chinook hosting rides?

Chinook,
An idea came up at our latest Wenatchee Velo Club meeting that there might be a way to bring our two clubs together this summer. Here's the idea: each club hosts a favorite ride in their home town and invites the the other club. The Velo president, Steve Johnston, seemed to like the idea and even suggested that the Velo could host a weekend with a favorite road ride one day and a mt. bike ride the next. Sounded fun to me, so, I volunteered to be the "ambassador" so to speak and get some feedback on the idea....
What do you guys think about that?? How many would come up with the group for a day or two of riding if it was something planned well in advance??

hey girl, i would be up for something new. it sounds like it could be a good week-end get together. i am in if it works on my days off. i am doing chelan challenge, tri-pass, shasta summit.

Great Anthony! It would be good to know what big rides most folks are doing so that we can plan around those dates if enough riders are showing interest in the idea. And as far as the Velo heading down your way, I've talked enough about the long road rides we do in the Tri Cities that there are several Wenatchee riders that would love to come down and do one. I think it would be a fun thing to see it become an annual thing...
